Beer Pints on Table

Prohibitionists and other conservatives have long viewed beer as the devil’s brew.

Beer itself isn’t so bad; it’s people that have given it a bad rap. When used in a controlled, social setting, beer is nothing more than a cold, refreshing break time treat.

Rich History
There is evidence that beer has been around almost along as history itself. Pre-historic man is said to have created beer before learning that grains could also be used to produce another dietary staple called “bread”. Noah is said to have stocked his ark with beer. Ancient Babylonian clay tables revealing recipes for beer date back to 4300 BC.

Social Acceptance
Clearly, beer has always been in important element at social gatherings. It’s a staple at sport arenas, card games, billiards, any most competitive and entertainment events. Problems can arise, however, when beer drinkers over indulge or believe they can drink way more than sane mind can handle then there is a chance that problems will arise, drinking in excess can brew trouble.

Worldwide Acclaim
Beer is consumed all over the world. North America, South America, Asia and Europe all have rich beer histories. Breweries can be found in Mongolia, many African countries, and Middle East countries including Iraq and Syria. Virtually anywhere a thirsty traveler stops to rest, a cold pint can easily be found. Many beers of the world are imported and readily available to North American beer drinkers looking to explore new flavors.

Rating Systems
Some avid beer drinkers actually rate the beers they consume, tally the scores and post their comments on Internet websites to determine the world’s most popular brews. Beer drinkers in America can correspond online with their Russian counterparts and swap bottles of beer through the mail. Others drink a variety of beers to keep and collect the bottles and caps. Pubs sometimes host beer clubs, awarding plaques or personalized steins to those who have purchased and quaffed every brand of beer on the menu.

Glass or Cans?
Some beer drinkers prefer to quaff from a proper pint glass, while some others downright refuse to drink from a bottle or can. Drinking from a glass or stein helps to release the aromas of the beer, so the drinker is able to appreciate more than just the taste of the brew. Pouring beer into a vessel also allows a head to form on the beer, an important element for many beer drinkers. Similar to wine and spirits, there are specific glasses available for different types of beer. Many brewers produce glassware intended for use with their own brand of beer.

Temperature
The ideal beer temperature varies depending on a number of factors. More experienced beer drinkers will tell you that a warmer temperature enhances the flavor, while colder temperatures inhibit the senses of the tongue and throat. Subtle nuances are weakened, and the main flavor is downright destroyed by low temperatures. On the other hand, those who work hard and play hard expect an ice-cold beer, served in a frosty mug. Irish beer drinkers insist that a pint of Irish Guinness is best served at room temperature.

Pouring
The way beer is poured has influence over the presentation of beer. The flow rate from the tap, position of the pour and the tilting of the glass all affect the outcome.

How the beer is poured determines the size and longevity of the head, and the turbulence of the pour affects how the carbonization is released. More heavily carbonated beers, such as German pilsners, need time to settle before they’re served. Many barkeeps will serve the beer with remaining yeast at the bottom of the glass to add extra color and flavor.

Pros and Cons of Beer Consumption
Although beer is a drink that contains alcohol, the alcohol alone does not make it dangerous to your health. Drinking beer excessively is what leads to hangovers, headaches, and the more severe healthy problems. If you drink beer in moderation and avoid getting drunk, you will not experience any problems with your health.

One of the most common things people say about beer, is that it makes you fat, hence the term “Beer Belly”. As a whole, beer contains little to no fat, and there are plenty of beer diets out there that you can use to stay thin. The infamous, “Beer Belly” is caused by consuming too much alcohol, which affects the body’s ability to burn fat. Even though beer can indeed lead to a “Beer Belly” if you drink too much of it, by drinking in moderation you should be good to go. If you have any issues or unnatural reactions while consuming beer, stop immediately and consult your physician.

Even though beer is low in sugar, it can affect your blood sugar levels. Beer contains alcohol, which can drop the natural level of sugar in your blood, leading to low energy levels. If you drink too much beer, you will get really tired and most likely fall asleep. Alcohol in beer will also lower insulin levels as well, which makes it beneficial for non-diabetics, as it will reduce the risk of arteriosclerosis.

In the past, research has linked beer with reducing the risk for heart disease, beer contains no cholesterol, it contains antioxidants, it is an excellent source of fiber, beer contains vitamins and can reduce stress.

To get the health benefits that beer provides, you should drink in moderation and no more than one beer a day, as it can easily lead to health problems from over consumption.

Alcohol will thin out your blood, which will protect your heart and reduce the risk of strokes and research has even shown moderate consumption of alcohol can help with improving your memory. But remember, if you drink it excessively, it can destroy brain cells, the adverse effect.

Beer nutrition has pros and cons as it can provide vitamins; yet also destroy your levels of vitamins. Beer is a great source of fiber, as well as other minerals, such as potassium, magnesium, and several B vitamins such as B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, and B12, it contains high levels of these vitamins, along with other minerals that are actually great for your body. Although it offers plenty of B vitamins and other minerals your body needs, it will also destroy your vitamin C levels, which is why you never want to drink too much of it.

When it comes down to it, beer may contain over 95% water, yet it is still a diuretic, due to the fact that beer contains alcohol, it will always be a diuretic. When you drink beer, you should avoid drinking too much and never, ever, drink beer instead of water. Beer can dehydrate your body fairly quickly, which is one of the biggest cons to the beverage.

Although beer does have several health benefits, drinking too much can easily hinder them. To stay on the safe side and avoid headaches and other health effects you should always drink responsibly, never drink too much, and always drink water when you are drinking beer.

Served warm or cold, from a bottle or glass, beer is an important part of society from Montana to Mongolia, a large number of men and women around the world love beer.

Distance Dating: It’s Time to Connect

Published

on

No matter what your age, height, weight or physical appearance, there are thousands of people out there eager to meet you. Whether you are looking for a short-term, long-term, serious, casual, platonic, romantic, or even an exclusive WhatsApp just looking to talk relationship there are many options out there.

If you are on-the-market again after a relationship has ended, or are swamped with work and have no time to go out and meet anyone, you need apps and virtual meetups to open the door to the dating scene for you.

How to Get Started

Couple PPE Heart

The good news is that all you need is a phone to get started. The first thing to do is find an online dating site that fits your needs. There are the large sites that offer many extras like live video chat and even match you up with ladies using your profiles. Also, a lot of sites that cater to special interests like religious preferences, outdoor enthusiasts, sexual orientation, and many more. You need to choose one or two that will meet your needs, and see if it’s a good fit.

Showcase your Personality

Nerdy Personality

The next thing you need to do is write a killer profile that is honest. Upload a recent photo of yourself that accurately represents yourself and shows you at your best. Whether that’s having fun with friends and family, or at a cool event, use photos to showcase your personality.

When you join an online dating service, you are looking for someone you can potentially spend the rest of your life with. In order to find a good match for you, you have to be completely honest about yourself when writing an online profile.

Stay True to You

Girl Keep it Real

The best way to begin writing your profile is to be genuine about your personality and interests. A witty joke can go a long way, and a write-up that is longer than a sentence or a vague statement. Many people appreciate a well-written profile — a blank profile is a faux-pas. If you’re not much of a writer and feel intimidated about filling out a profile, enlist the help of a friend who can accurately help you express yourself, your hobbies, and keep your profile true to you.

Never lie about your appearance, age or profession. The truth will eventually come out, and you will miss opportunities with potential suitors and get a bad reputation. The idea of online dating is to find someone who appreciates you for who you are — if you lied in your profile, then your first date will go horribly wrong.

Put the Past Behind You

Last of all, once you have met someone and have decided that you are committed to each other, delete all your online dating profiles. Keeping your online profiles can be dishonest, and make you appear available.

Once you have done this, you will be ready to start connection with women near you. Be sure to respond to messages from women you’re interested in and don’t leave them hanging too long or they’ll lose interest — the two day waiting rule is way outdated. Don’t get carried away writing longwinded messages, or it may put people off.

Stick with It

Phone Connection Love

If you’re feeling frustrated with the online dating process, try to stick with it for a while. If you give up after a month and haven’t found anyone, you may be closing yourself to future dating possibilities. New people join online dating services daily and at least half of them are ladies that you could meet.

Car Insurance

Car insurance sucks! That monthly and/or annual payment really sucks but, having an accident without insurance is a whole other level of sucks. Insurance is the law and a necessary payment in many people’s life and for that reason let’s explore getting everything you need for less. All the tasty coverage with none of that inflated premium aftertaste.

1) Shop Around
Data show that many people simply renew their current policies without shopping around. The Internet makes it easy to compare prices from different companies, so why not take advantage of this? Plus, you’ll usually get a discount of 10% or more just for buying your policy through an advertised promotion.

Auto Insurance Policy2) Policy Type
Do you really need a comprehensive policy with all the extras? Going for a third-party Fire & Theft policy can reduce your premiums hugely and is definitely worth considering if your car is not an expensive model.

Insurance Claim3) No Claims Discounts
Nearly all policies feature a discount that increases for every year you do not make a claim. Also look at insurers offering a “no claims bonus for life” feature, where your current discount level can be fixed forever, even if you have to make a claim somewhere down the line.

Excess Car Insurance4) Increase Your Excess
The excess on a policy is the amount of a claim you have to pay before the insurer pays the rest. Choosing to have a higher than standard excess level will usually mean lower premiums.

Car Alarm5) Get a Security System
Fitting your vehicle with an alarm, immobilizer, or other security devices can lead to premium reductions. Parking your car off of the street, for example on a driveway or in a garage, will also mean a cheaper policy.

Payment Options6) Pay Annually
Many insurers charge you interest for the privilege of paying in monthly installments. Pay annually if you can afford it to avoid this or look for one of the companies who do not charge extra for monthly payment.Speedometer

7) Lower Your Mileage
The more mileage you run up every year, the more your insurance will cost. Even if you can’t reduce your mileage, make sure you’re not overestimating how much you actually do drive, and give your insurer an accurate figure.

Young Drivers8) Limit the Amount of Drivers
The more drivers you have on your policy, the more it will cost. Reduce the number of people insured to drive your car to the minimum possible and try to get the policy in the name of a driver with the lowest risk profile. For example, if a car is driven by both a man and a woman, insuring it in the woman’s name will often result in a cheaper quote.

Responsible Woman9) Low Risk Candidate
Insurance companies are interested in managing risk and they offer drivers who are less likely to get into wrecks a lower insurance quote. When negotiating your policy make sure to highlight all the reasons why you are a low risk candidate. Insurance companies like boring people, so this is not the time to talk about your crazy spring break in Cancun.

Safe Volvo10) Buy a Safe Vehicle
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety together collect information on safety related aspects of different vehicles. Buy an automobile that is officially designated as “safe” for lower insurance rates.

Credit Score11) A Good Credit Score
As a risk management entity, insurance companies are also worried about getting paid on time. If you can show yourself to be credit worthy, there is less risk of you not making your payments on time, thus warranting a lower rate.

financial Responsibility12) Practice Financial Wisdom
The way in which you structure and pay for your policy can lower the risk that an insurance company faces with respect to you as a customer. By taking steps to lower their risk, you receive a lower insurance quote and policy. Opt-in for automatic payment deductions from your bank account or your credit card to avoid getting charged for mail payments and ensure payments are on time.

It was not too long ago when contracts were made on a handshake and a promise and individuals were not particularly concerned with things like insurance because they relied upon the goodwill of their neighbor to compensate them for wrongful damage.

Buying auto insurance today requires as much dexterity as buying the automobile itself. It is important to know the factors that an auto insurance company considers when offering quotes. This will allow you, as the consumer, to know what steps you need to take in order to qualify for a lower quote. Please call us for more tips, help, and the lowest possible rates.

America is Free, But Healthcare Isn’t

Sick Woman in Hospital Bed

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]America is a free country, a wealthy country, a capitalistic country, a democratic country, American citizens have rights that citizens of many other countries have never known. Yet, despite all our wealth and all our rights, many Americans are sick, very sick. Chronic illnesses and disease are at epidemic levels and a lack of healthcare is a very real issue for most.

There are various reasons for not having health insurance, but the main reason from which all other reasons stem is money. Many people just do not have the money it takes to pay for a substantial health insurance policy. People can generally get a good deal on health insurance if they purchase it through their employers, but not everyone is employed or works for a company that offers health benefits, and individual health insurance policies are much more expensive than the group insurance policy rates employers offer.

Health care is expensive, and health insurance is supposed to help cut the cost of health care; however, while health insurance does help us pay for health care, is heath insurance itself too expensive? For many, the answer is yes. If you work for an employer who doesn’t offer health insurance, are self-employed, or just otherwise can’t afford health insurance, don’t give up, let’s look at some options that may be right for you.

Stethoscope Cut Out Family

There are a variety of options when choosing health insurance, however, the main purpose of health insurance is to provide the “insured” with financial coverage that will help pay for the cost of care during thee sickness. Health insurance may also cover things such as hospital beds, lab tests, medicine, surgeries, x-rays, and more. Health Insurance will pay the cost of medical expenses due to sickness, illnesses, accidents, and childbirth. Each health insurance policy is different, and it is recommended to determine what types of services will be covered when choosing and comparing health insurance plans. The most common type of Health Insurance is Private Sector Health Insurance. Health Insurance varies from life insurance in a few ways. First, health insurance is purchased annually, and there is no guarantee that premium costs will not rise with each renewal policy.

Before you can qualify for medical insurance, you will more than likely need to undergo a series of routine tests. These tests will screen out any underlying conditions that may require you to need more medical services. Based upon the results of the tests, you may or may not qualify for medical insurance.

Unfortunately, many today are facing life without any insurance at all. There are many plans available and many different service providers and brokers that offer a wide variety of health care coverage to qualified individuals. For those who cannot afford to pay the premium cost of health insurance, they may qualify to receive government insurance through their state. The two programs run by the United States government are Medicare and Medicaid. Some local counties may also offer free healthcare to uninsured people through programs that are either federally funded or working on grant monies.

Many people are discovering that they cannot afford the premium price of the healthcare plans that are offered by their place of employment. This does not mean that they have no options available. The first step in determining whether you can afford your company’s health care insurance is to speak with your Human Resource department and see if there is a plan that they offer that meets your needs. You also have the option of researching several insurance brokers and agents online. This is a great way to find a free quote and get in touch with different brokers easily. By simply filling out a small questionnaire over the Internet, you will then receive a return phone call by brokers or agents who are interested in signing you to a policy.

It is important that you choose your health insurance plan carefully. Your plan is a legal binding contract and you have many rights to medical services and covered costs once you enter into this agreement. You should know your rights and understand the terms of your policy plan. Since most people agree that quality health insurance is the most important benefit that companies offer their employees it is necessary that you take the time to read the literature that pertains to your policy plan.

To get started on finding health insurance options that may be right for you it is extremely important to speak with knowledgeable professionals. Do your research of course, but always take the time to speak with knowledgeable professionals, they are there to help you.
